Rehabilitation Practice
Rooted in Consistency, Driven by Excellence

EXC55D is the 26th Post-Graduate Course of the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, University of the Philippines–Philippine General Hospital, and the kick-off to the Department's 55th Founding Anniversary.
Over two days the course revisits the areas the Department has championed and excelled in — from neuromuscular and neurologic rehabilitation to community-based practice, musculoskeletal care, training, education and governance across Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. It is built for physicians and allied health professionals alike.
Physiatrists and consultants · Residents and fellows-in-training · Nurses · Physical therapists · Occupational therapists · Speech-language pathologists · Psychologists · Rehabilitation service administrators
Times, titles and speakers as scheduled. The programme is subject to change; this page is updated as the committee confirms revisions.
Choose how you would like to proceed.
Enter the Reference ID number from your confirmation, together with the last name you registered under. Reserved slots are individual registrations — group bookings pay upfront and are settled from the group confirmation.
If you are availing of the group rate — a group of 10, with one participant free — fees must be paid upfront and the group cannot be reserved for later payment. Please choose Register & pay now (group) instead.
Keep this reference. Your slot is confirmed once payment is verified by the secretariat.
Use this Reference ID number for your pre-test, post-test and certificate.
—
Every participant has their own Reference ID number. Each attendee uses their own — not the group reference — for the pre-test, post-test and certificate.

Here is everything registered participants need to know ahead of October 23 and 24.
The registration desk is at the Century Park Hotel function-room foyer. Bring your Reference ID number — printed or on your phone.
Bring your PRC ID or any valid identification card. Your identification card may be used for verification purposes upon registration.
Attendees are encouraged to wear business or smart casual attire, and to bring a jacket as the function rooms may run cold.
The hotel is located at 599 P. Ocampo Street, Malate, Manila. The nearest LRT-1 station is Vito Cruz Station, which is just a short walk away. Hotel parking is also available for a fee and fills quite early. Please arrive before 7:30 AM if you will be driving to the venue.
Delegates booking rooms at Century Park Hotel may ask for the EXC55D rate. Please contact the secretariat for the booking code.
Both tests must be completed for the organisers to file your CPD units with the PRC.
Answer before the first plenary begins. Your score is not graded and does not affect your certificate.
Answer after the final session. Completing this, together with the pre-test and the evaluation form, releases your certificate of attendance.
Your evaluation is required by the CPD Council and shapes next year's course. It takes about three minutes, and your certificate is released once it is submitted.
It goes live on the afternoon of 24 October, after the final session. You will need your Reference ID number and last name to complete it.
If what you need isn't here, the secretariat answers e-mail within one working day.
You receive a booking reference the moment you enlist, and a confirmation e-mail shortly after. Your slot is only confirmed once the secretariat verifies your payment — usually within two working days of you uploading your proof.
Please go to the Registration tab, select Pay for reserved slot and follow the instructions. No need to e-mail the secretariat.
Yes, up to seven days before the course. E-mail the secretariat with your booking reference and the replacement's full details, PRC number and profession. If the replacement's registration fee differs from yours, the difference shall be settled at the registration desk on the day of the event.
Cancellations received more than 14 days before the course are refunded less a processing fee. Within 14 days the fee is non-refundable, but the slot may be transferred to a colleague.
The Department has filed the CPD accreditation application with the PRC. The number of units is confirmed once the CPD Council acts on the application, and will be posted here. Units require the signed attendance sheet, completed tests and the evaluation form.
The fee covers both days and is not split. You are welcome to attend only one day, but the fee is unchanged and CPD units are credited only for sessions you attend.
Yes — morning and afternoon snacks, and lunch, will be provided on both days. Please let the secretariat know any dietary requirements.
Selected lectures are recorded and clips may be posted to the Department's website and Facebook page, with each speaker's written consent. Slide decks are not distributed unless a speaker releases them.
Registrations are stored in Supabase. Reference ID numbers, fees and workshop capacity are all computed in the database, so they cannot be altered from the browser. The registration desk is at /admin and is limited to the accounts listed in committee_users.
Rates and cut-off dates live in the fees and settings tables; workshop capacity lives in workshops. Change them there and this page follows on the next load.
